Privacy policy In compliance with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on Protection of Personal Data (LOPDCP), the Basilica Santa Maria de la Seu de Manresa (hereinafter “The Seu”) informs users that communication to the portal through any means established for this purpose, now or in the future, of your personal data implies the unequivocal consent of the user, registered or not, that the Seu processes the personal data and the incorporation into the corresponding personal data files in order to (I) streamline the management, administration, study, review, acceptance and/or rejection of service requests through the portal; (II) adapt and customize the services to the preferences of the users; (III) submit notifications of website updates; (IV) send information, even using electronic means, regarding the web site of the Seu and the services offered there. The Seu informs that the user is not obliged, at any time, to answer the forms that he/she receives.

The Office also informs the user about the possibility of exercising, in the terms established by the LOPDCP, the rights of access to personal data to rectify, cancel or oppose them, being the Seu in charge of the treatment of them. Email communication between users and the Seu does not use a secure channel, and the transmitted data is not encrypted, which means It must be taken into account when submitting personal data, especially those protected in accordance with article 7 of the LOPDCP. In order to give users the greatest advantages, the Office may keep them informed of offers or promotions of their own or of third parties that may be of interest for the user in any type of support, related to the following sectors of activity: leisure, knowledge and tourism. In case the user does not want to receive this information, he/she can tell it to the Seu.

In compliance with the article 34.e of the LOPDCP, the Seu informs users that accepting the privacy policy of the web site also implies the consent of the users that their data are transferred to receivers, in the term applies if the conditions set out above, to any country in the world, even if they do not offer a degree of protection similar to the LOPDCP.

The Seu declares that it has implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures that guarantee the security of the personal data, to prevent alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, all in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 1720/2007. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Seu may disclose to the competent public authorities the personal data and any other information that is available to them through its computer systems and that is required, in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions.

In the case of providing personal data of third parties, the user will be responsible for informing them of this privacy policy, and they will be able to exercise the right of access to the personal data to rectify them or cancel them by letter to the address of the Seu, at the Baixada de la Seu N. 1, Manresa (084241), or by email to the following address: gestio@seudemanresa.cat.

In the case of under aged people, only parents or guardians can provide their legal information. The exercise of the right of access to personal data to rectify, cancel or oppose them will correspond to the legal representative, in accordance with the provisions of the previous paragraph.

In case of conflicts among the legal representatives of the minor, the legal services of the Seu reserve the right to request additional information to resolve disputes for the sole purpose of properly managing the relationship with the Seu and always respecting the principles of confidentiality of the information and the confidentiality of data. If the Seu revises or changes the privacy policy of the web site, the new wording will be included in the website and will be applicable from that moment.
