The Favets of Manresa and their heritage

For more than 500 years, the Confraternity of the Immaculate has organized the celebration of the Purest Feast at the Basilica of Santa Maria de la Seu in Manresa, and this year it has programmed together with the management of the basilica and the Amics de la Seu (the Seu's Friends), five sessions of guided visits to explain who the Favets are and what is their heritage.

The route will include the visit to the Capella dels Favets, located in the neoclassical cloister of the Seu, the Greater Altar of the Immaculate, inside the basilica, and the jewels of the Seu Museum.

The price of the visit is 4?/person and it is recommended to register by email (gestio@seudemanresa.cat) or by calling 93.872.15.12. The collection of visits will go to the restoration of the altar of the Purest.

In addition to the guided tours, the brotherhood has prepared the following program of events:
- Traditional ninth and mass, from Thursday 29 November to Friday, December 7 at 6.30pm and Mass with Homily and Song of the Goigs at 7pm.
- Traditional Pass of the flag from the basilica through the streets of the city, on Sunday December 2 from 10am.
- Feast of the Immaculate, solemn conventual mass, on Saturday, December 8 at 11am.
